A very tough session at garretstown on Friday afternoon. Rigged the 4.7 but soon found I was completly stacked out the back. Came back in and applied more downhaul (which meant I could now hold on). Some very nice waves -- and an equally nice windshadow on the inside made for tough conditions getting out. Once out the waves were pretty decent on the point, if quite choppy in the 4m weather. Stuck at it for 2 hours before calling it a day. Massive shorebreak when we were packing up...wouldn't like to try and launch at that time!
